I have uploaded a photo, but it still claims I have no photo, why?
Firstly, there are three places that you can upload photos:
Now that you have uploaded a profile photo, you must make it your "Primary" photo. Under each photo in your "Profile Photos" area, you have a button called "Make Primary". This will set that photo as your main photo. As per our policy, this photo must be a photo of you.

Why haven't I received the e-mail regarding validating my account/new date notification/new messages?
Email messages coming from the site usually come from noreply@shaadidates.com. It's possible that these e-mail messages were deposited into your spam/junk folder. Many e-mail services such as Gmail have a "Not Spam" or "Mark as Safe" option to mark these messages as normal, and not as spam. Check your spam folder, if you find any of our emails or notifications in there, mark them as not spam.
It is also possible that your e-mail program's/service's current settings are set to delete all e-mail marked as spam immediately (this happens often with hotmail), when this happens, you may not receive our e-mails at all. Unfortunately these settings are beyond the control of Shaadidates.com, and for good reason, your protection. That being said, it's a good idea to ensure your e-mail program/service does not automatically delete "Junk Mail" immediately, so that you have a chance to retrieve any messages that may accidentally slip into the junk mail bin.

Shaadidates.com shows up as being in "BETA". What does this mean?
Shaadidates.com is a new service, and while we have tested everything we can, Some things need YOU, our valued members to evaluate. We are not in the business of telling you what you want, we need your input to help make this the best site it can be. While this means there are possibly a few possible issues still to be perfected, we are also delivering this to you at a reduced price. We will remain in "BETA" until we are certain that we are delivering you the absolute best service that we can, at which time the site will no longer be in "BETA", and the prices will reflect normal operations.
Does this mean that I will have to pay much more once the "BETA" is over?
We are currently investigating a promotion that will allow members who signed on and have been a good standing member of Shaadidates.com throughout the "BETA" process, to enjoy a reduced price. However please be aware that even if we do not pursue such a promotion, the target price is in fact less than the price of a pair of typical movie tickets.
What are the benefits of becoming a Paid member, instead of a free member?
Shaadidates.com has two types of membership. Firstly we have the free basic membership, in order to have this, all you need to do is register. Once registered you will have the ability to search and view member photos, browse member profiles, and even create one of your own. You will be listed in our dating database, and other members will be able to find you.
The next type of membership is a "Paid Membership". This class of membership will allow you a much broader range of features, including but not limited to;

- All the features of free membership,
- Sending messages to other members,
- Public chat room access complete with full audio/video,
- You can enjoy use of our date management system and send date requests to other members,
- You will be able to upload videos and music to your profile,
- You can create your own polls,
- 10% of your membership fee goes towards the many charities Shaadidates.com is affiliated with,
- As well as our own built in instant messenger which includes our "Virtual Dating Experience".
Help! I'm having a problem, what should I do?
There are many solutions available to you. The first place to look is the F.A.Q. but since you are already here, we'll list the other options.
- If your problem is technical in nature, please submit a trouble ticket.
- If you have a Billing / Account question, please send an e-mail to billing@shaadidates.com
- If you are having trouble with a member who is harassing you, or otherwise abusing the site, please make use of the "Report" button on the offending page. You will have an opportunity to describe the nature of the issue.
- If you have a concern not covered by one of the above options, send your general inquiry to info@shaadidates.com and a member of our staff will get back to you as soon as possible. Be sure to include your user name in the e-mail so that we can best address the issue.
Can I register a profile for for someone else?
While we normally prefer that our members create their own profiles, we do allow people to create profiles for other individuals so long as they have their explicit consent. In this case we reserve the right to discontinue any profile that has been proven to represent an individual who does not authorize it's existence.
How long does it take to create a profile on Shaadidates.com?
Not long at all. It's a simple matter of filling out our Join form, this takes about 2 to 5 minutes. Everything past this is optional. However if you wish to make your profile the best it can be, you can upload your photos, and answer our match questions as honestly as possible. This can take anywhere from 20 minutes, to just over an hour.
Me and my sister/friend/parent use the same e-mail address, and they also have a profile on Shaadidates.com. The site tells me that my e-mail address is already in use and I must choose another, why is this?
Shaadidates.com associates your account with your e-mail address, all communications and security is handled though this address. Each account on Shaadidates.com must have a unique and separate e-mail address.
What is a Profile ID? Do I need to know this?
Your numerical profile ID is part of our system's internal workings. You need not worry about or know this. Our site communicates to you and associates you with your user name, not the profile ID.
I am leaving Shaadidates.com for a while, I don't want to delete my account, but I don't want to show up in searches, how can I do this?
You can temporarily suspend your profile from the My Account page. Under "Member Info" next to profile status, you will find a "Suspend" link. This will give you the option to temporarily suspend your profile.
I am leaving Shaadidates.com permanently and want to delete my profile, or I wish to start over from scratch with a new account, how can I do this?
You can delete your profile from the My Account page menu. At the top of the page, there is a link entitled "Delete My Account". Selecting this will give you the option to completely remove your account from our system.
How do I use the Audio/Video Chat?
First, look for the My Video box in the chat room.
This chat box contains all the resources you need to activate or stop both Audio and Video.
Your own video will preview in this box, allowing you to see what others will see when watching you.

How do I show my video? / How do I broadcast audio?
Using the buttons on the left side of the "My Video" box.
- "Broadcast Video" is used to begin sending your live webcam video to other members of the chat room.
- "Pause Video" simply allows you to pause this video feed.
- "Stop Video" stops broadcasting your webcam to anyone who may be watching.
- "Broadcast audio" toggles whether or not you are broadcasting audio.
- "A/V settings" allows you to choose which video source (webcam, camcorder, virtual camera, IP camera, etc...) to broadcast. From this section you can also choose which audio source to broadcast (for computers/laptops with multiple sound devices)
My Video or Audio is not working, why not?
Please read the above answer to access the A/V Settings, then ensure that the correct camera is selected in the drop box. (example shown to the Right). For audio, the same applies but on the next tab to the right.
PayPal is only giving me the option to log into my PayPal account in order to pay, How do I pay just by credit card without a PayPal account?
Though PayPal does like to hide this, there is a link allowing you to continue without logging in. See the image to the right.
What kind of internet speed/bandwidth do I need to use Chat/Video/Music?
While you can browse and use our site with nearly any level of internet connection. Here is a simple conservative chart to ensure that you have what you need to best enjoy all that we have to offer. Also keeping in mind that any download applications, or streaming media (such as internet radio) will affect your internet speed.
